Paul Kramer

Paul Kramer

Paul, who offers instruction in classical guitar, has over thirty years of teaching and performing experience. He began formal study of guitar while a student in the Music Industry Arts Programme at Fanshawe College. Upon graduation, he obtained a position as guitar instructor at the Tamarack School of Music and continued advanced studies with Ray Sealey, Robert Feuerstein, and Alice Artz.

Paul has performed in many S. Ontario communities, both as a soloist and in partnership with many vocalists, flutists, violinists, and other guitarists. He is currently active with the Artamus Guitar Trio, and the guitar duo Two People. He and duo partner Suzanne Frank released a CD of original compositions and continue to compose works for two guitars.

His students have been Royal Conservatory of Music Silver Medal award winners, Kiwanis Music Festival Gold Medallists, and have been accepted to music programmes at Western University, The University of Ottawa, and The University of Toronto.

Paul was introduced to the Suzuki approach in the early 90's and took Suzuki Guitar Teacher Training in Connecticut, South Carolina, and Ontario. He is very happy to be able to offer his students the opportunity to participate in group classes and ensemble performance through his affiliation with Forest City School for Talent Education.
